I have a 2021 F150 that was stuck on an OTA update (continued to do the same update every week for 4 months) about 3 months ago. Took it in to the dealer for them to fix it and they reset all of the SYNC 4 systems and it fixed the update issue. However, afterwards the built in Alexa app and all functionality disappeared. I have read through so many threads and watched so many videos I have lost count but still cant find an answer to how to get it back on the truck. I have been on the phone with Ford numerous times but they always want me to download the Alexa+Ford app on my phone and use it that way. That is not how it used to work and I don't want to set it up that way. I loved the hands/hassle free way that the built-in Alexa function worked. I finally gave up and took the truck back in to the dealer a week ago for them to diagnosis it and they can't seem to figure it out either. Hoping someone here has either had a similar issue or knows how to fix it.
Here are pictures of all the settings menus I currently have, 2 pages is all that show up on the SYNC screen
I got a picture of my wife Lincoln screen to show what icon I am missing and talking about
Without that icon I have no way to pull up the QR code to re-login to my Amazon account and make Alexa active again. Does anyone know how to get that setting back or where it went to?
