Someone hit my driver's tow mirror and the only damage was a cracked lens over the lamp on the outside of the mirror. I am able to order the lamp part, but have not been able to find instructions on how to get the cracked one out and the new one in. The parts supplier mentioned I likely will have to remove the mirror and get to the lamp that way.

Does anyone have experience taking these mirrors apart - and in particular the lamp section and could help me out with instructions/pointers?
