Sorry if it's been brought up my search skills suck. I have a 23 XL with a bench and no lumbar. I was looking at a Ford parts website and saw that I could purchase the manual lumbar back and **** for about $100. Has anyone done this or is it even feasible with the seats I have in the truck? I average about 40-50k miles a year and no lumbar is killing my back and I've tried the pillows on Amazon they don't work for me.
you should start looking for a set of buckets from a wrecked truck. seat are very comfortable and lumbar works awesome.
I've thought of that but every set I find near me had the airbags deployed or they want $500 or over for shipping. I've sat in my buddies STX and his seats seem leaps and bounds better than mine.
I don't see why not. It is a cable attached to a motor in the seat back frame. Power comes from controller that motor is attached to.
I am selling my XLT take offs on eBay which would have what you need except the motor.
There are allot of seat mods in the Gen14 forum. I advise checking with @HammaMan . The motor is in this black bag and cable in the yellow sleeve if i recall correctly. The motor pulls in the cable the is your lumbar solution
