Default Lowered shackles or remove blocks

Just curious what people think is the best way to lower the back of the truck. Remove blocks which is easier or install lowering shackles.

I know you can do both but i just want to know either or options.

My opinion, it depends. Does one need difference/shorter U-bolts as well? Removing the blocks is arguably more invasive, so if you're spending money either way, the shackles are cheap enough and fairly easy to install. If its a matter of turning wrenches without spending money on u-bolts, I may opt to go the route of the above poster and go for block removal first, then shackles if desired.

I've done both, remove the blocks for me if I ever lowered my truck again. If you're a 4X2, you're pretty much stuck with shackles.
