Default Lost connection with Android auto

I received my new truck last week and I was really eager to try the new version of android auto with my cell phone, but it keeps losing the connection when I drive and I lose the WAZE navigation maps and the music at the same time. What is the problem?

This is way too difficult to diagnose over a forum. If you are constantly having bluetooth connectivity issues, you may have to take it back to the dealer to get it looked at. Try unpairing the phone and repairing it.

Based on my car play experience, there are times when the phone doesn’t connect to the truck. Solution is to go to the CarPlay (orAndroid) section of your phone, shut it off for a few seconds then turn it back on.

I’m assuming that the handshake between the the truck and device fails to play nice and sometimes needs a little help.

My GMC has a Google operating system that runs the factory nav. And maps show the 2 suggestions but it covers very little of the map. Annoying? Not really but I do have to go into my Google maps app and delete some searches because they keep popping up as the 2
I looked up the local yard waste drop off location and it kept showing it until I deleted it. No way to disable the "feature" on GMC system either.
