Default Lopsided bed

Have any of you ever measured your bed from the ground to the top of the wheel well arch? Standing behind my truck bed it looks lopsided. I get it that spring rates aren’t perfect but when I measured from the ground over the axle to the top of the wheel well arch I get 40” on one side and 41” on the other. That’s enough to see a difference. I turned the truck around 180 degrees and parked in the same place and got the same measurements. Truck is stock and unloaded.

Yeah, pretty common with different manufacturers.

One of the myth's floating around is that it sits low because of the fuel tank. We need to justify our thoughts and the gas tank makes sense to convince ourselves even if there isn't a real answer.
Measure the vehicle with a full and empty tank and it's not going to be level vs not level.

If the driver's side is lower could be due to fuel tank and its extra weight being on that side. Drove GM trucks for years. Really common on them; referred to as the Chevy lean on their boards.
