Hello, I have a 2021 Ford F150 pickup. I got one of these lights off amazon. I hooked it to the trailer connector on the bumper. I keep getting Trailer disconnected, Trailer Right light fault, Trailer Left Light fault.

Normal on F150s since at least 2015. Buddy had same issues on his 17. You need to hardwire them in.
