This may be just turbo lag but have to ask. My 2021 3.5l ecoboost lags on initial acceleration. After that it runs fine and has plenty of power. I only have 15,000 miles on it. I've never had a turbo motor before so don't know if this is turbo lag. It feels like I need a pedal commander or something similar but would something like this even help?

 

Does it also lag in sport mode?

 

I don't really see much difference in sport mode.

 

I would probably have a dealer have it checked. Mine is pretty instant in Sport, tiny bit of lag in normal

 

Peddle commander or a TCM tune will fix all your issues!!!!

 

agreed. I have had like 4 of these in various trucks, works perfect!
