As the tile says, I placed an order for a 2022 STX Fx4. Space White. Really excited!

The dealer told me expect 5-6 months wait time. He also confirmed the black package is a major hold up (I did not opt for it).

My order was placed on Monday November 1st. I have not recieved anything from Ford.

When can I expect a notification or confirmation receipt etc?

 

You may not actually receive anything from Ford in Canada. I live in Ontario and I have had a '21 on order since beginning of September that was converted to a '22 in mid October. The wait time I was quoted was about the same...wait until spring. I ordered a Platinum and when converted to the '22 I added the Black Appearance Package...so I am expecting it will be a really long wait and I haven't received any communications directly from Ford on either custom order.

Welcome fellow Canadian, let me tell you a story lol....
I ordered on the 1st of Octorber, and still waiting on a vin..... so we shall be waiting for quiet a while.... now for discussions about the black appearance package. It is rumored to start late year, so you would have to wait close to a year or longer... anyways that is the info on the forms so far..... you may want to consider going with the sport package instead to cut the wait time....

 

I am ok with waiting...I still have my lease on my current truck until Nov 2023 so no rush for me...I would rather wait and get something I want and am completely happy with than not get it, see it later, and say "I should have waited!" The dealer may try to push to get me to change my options...but I am willing to wait.

 

Toronto, Ontario Lariat order here...Aug 28 order placed with dealer. Nothing from dealer until end of Oct, advised my order is now a 22MY and that its so far. Ford should really thank these forums, as the information provided here is keeping a lot of calls from ending up at the dealer or Ford Motor Company.

 

I am in Canada and ordered a 21 on May 4th. Received it on Oct 4th. 5 Months.

 

Fellow Canadian here. Ordered MY22 at the end of September, never received any confirmation from Ford. Had to follow up with dealership multiple times to get my order code. Still no vin or build date yet.

 

My estimate for a timeline line to receive my truck based on all the information online, is 5 to 6 months which takes us to Feb or Mar 2022. Anything sooner is a win, but who really wants their new truck in the middle of slush/salt season...lol
