For a $6500 savings I'll buy a plane ticket and take a road trip.

agreed ,doing the same thing

I decided on Granger too in the end. I live over in Port Townsend. I was surprised how little dealers around here would come down in price. Some just expect you to pay MSRP and the times and truck don't warrant that anymore. I moved here from Ohio. I'm surprised by the dealers around here. Maybe it is a bigger city thing.

I ordered my truck back in October and am working with Chip. My truck says built as of Yesterday 3/17.
Really looking forward to when it ships. I will be buying a plane ticket and driving it home to Raleigh, NC!

Hi @zach@granger , are the transit tags always supposed to be valid 30 days? I picked my F150 up on the 23rd, but the transit tag says good for 15 days. Now wondering how that lines up with getting the title etc. back from Iowa which they said was typically 2-3 weeks before Granger could then overnight the docs to me.

Just bought a truck from Granger. Not a custom order, bought off the lot while I happened to be in town for business.
Worked with Amanda. She was great. Very upfront, straightforward, no BS.
Finance department left me sour. Jordan did my paperwork, he was fine. He was obviously pretty new, but still did a good job explaining everything and letting me know about my options. I turned down the extended service contract. Finance manager came in and just wouldn't take "No" for an answer. I initially turned it down because I wasn't interested, eventually turned it down out of spite. I get it, his job is to sell service contracts because margins on vehicles are low and that's how you guys make your money, but dude needs to learn to read the room and not keep pushing when the answer is clear.
Otherwise, love my new truck and would still buy from Granger/Amanda again.

I had that same experience with my local Toyota dealership. Everything was great with the process but then the finance guy kept pushing on additional stuff. He got annoyed I didn't buy from him, but not as annoyed as I was. I think it just comes down to the individual. I was financing the minimum in order to get the incentive (usually two payments), but I always ask how long I need to keep the loan for them to get paid. My revenge was I paid if off as soon as I had the documents.

@WyeGap When you leave the dealership, we put a 15 day in-transit tag in the back window. Finance should have given you copies of your paperwork that was completed as the purchase agreement is good for an additional 30 days. It can take roughly 10 days for our county to send us the title along with another tag to get you by before registering it!

Ah thanks @zach@granger , the 30 days from with the PA is what I forgot (I'm sure the sales manger told me the process, should have taken notes, too excited picking up the truck). Loving the truck, and the experience with Granger was excellent.

Is there a buyers guide that shows invoice pricing available for public view?
