Default Just heard

Just got the call that my truck was sitting at the dealer. YEAH Hopefully I can go in tomorrow and pick it up with no surprises. Seemed like it took forever but was pretty fast compared to others. Only took 12 weeks I don't know if I could have waited as long as some of the posters.

Be glad you arent in Houston and order from Joe Myers ford. They tried to bait and switch me. I drove 90 miles for a truck they had on the lot get there and ohh were sorry we sold that 40 minutes ago...... BULL****.
Fast forward 10 minutes.....the sales guy actually tried to convince me to buy someone elses ordered truck that wasnt even on the lot yet like wtf..... To top it off it wasnt even close to what I wasted my time driving 2 hours for.
Then this guy tries to tell me they will order me a truck exactly how I want it and in 3 months when it comes in they will buy it back dollar for dollar what I paid for it.....but the catch was there could be no damages not even a rock chip.
I drive houston everyday that is completely impossible to do for even a week. not to mention I drive 175 miles a day for work and family. truck would have 20k miles before the 3 months were up.
I called the GM 3 times and left msgs. never once did Pat Goldwaite return a call. This would have been the 3rd truck in a row purchased from that dealer. So this salesman Greg Martin cost the dealer a repeat customer and the GM didnt even care.

STEER AWAY FROM JOE MYERS FORD on hwy 290 just run from them.

The new car dealers are even worse than established used car lots. The sales people rotate through the dealer faster and they are like robots that scurry back and forth to the hidden GM desk for liar programming. There are still good ones out there but you have to battle the initial elevated price (like 7k over MSRP) and parade of false statements. It only gets worse if you are haggling over a used car. Walked on one where they printed a shop statement for the 150 point inspection and work performed like replacing the transmission. Looked really good that the nice new car dealer spent $4000 on repairs. Read the fine print and saw the actual work done was oil change and other minor stuff. Transmission had fine print that dealer declined repair based on estimate. Transmission was noticeably slipping in city driving. Called them on that and suddenly my trade got reduced by roughly the cost of the transmission replacement. Sales person said my trade value got revised by the market over the weekend. Hmmmmm.

Your dealer has no credibility if they are stealing deals from orders and then expecting you to go along and order another potential steal deal for them. Almost makes one want to order the least desirable most expensive truck possible and then pass on it when it comes in.
