Did a little more digging and asked the dealer if he heard anything. The last scan was at the port of KC on the 8th (which was the date it was completed per the tracker). He also figures it is coming via rail--good call.
Well..let's try this once more. Dealer did a little more digging. Said all vehicles coming to CA at the moment are coming by truck due to some labor issue with the trains. So it's sitting in KC waiting for a ride...

Got a friend that was an engineer for about a decade. She was overloaded with hours 15 years ago. Things have only gotten worse since then. I think they are short about 10% right now.
Local post office has a 10% shortage of drivers. There are neighborhoods that haven't received mail in 3 weeks because there is no one available to handle their route. Trains are similar, there are routes that you can't just throw any engineer on, you need someone familiar with the terrain. The engineer that's been running loads across Ohio, Indiana, southern Illinois and back the past two decades probably isn't the guy or gal you want at the head of a mile long train running Cumberland Gap.
