Installing an auxiliary horn?
Has anyone installed an auxiliary horn on their 2023 F150? I put an Aoogha horn on my 02 and put a small momentary on button on the dash by my right knee. Everyone always knew it was me when I tooted. I have been looking at the dash on my new truck and it sure looks complicated to get into plus with all the electronics, computers etc I'm concerned about pulling power from somewhere to run to the relay and horn.
I haven't looked into it yet but the easy solution would be to swap out the factory horns for the old timey Aoogha but it would be nice to have both horns.
Any advice?
Thanks

you probably would throw some body codes. the horn is controlled via the BCM, so when you press on the wheel, it goes through the clockspring to the BCM as a 'request' to sound the horn, the BCM then closes the horn relay (which IIRC is integrated into the BCM) and then power is applied to the horn switch
Wish Ford made the Auxiliary switches that the 250 and up can get at the factory available just for moments like this. There are a few after market options and perhaps someone has figured out retrofitting a factory set up as well.
