Default I see the light

I was installing tie downs in the box of my 23 F150. I noticed daylight between the inner side panel and the bed. My truck has been sprayed with bed liner too. Anyone else notice this on their truck or do I have a defect?

Thanks

It's by design so water does not pool in the bed. All truck beds have some way for water to drain. All good!

I can see some light in mine as well. Also with factory spray in liner. Doesn't bother me.

YUP lots of light. Never had a truck like that before but I guess it is what it is.

At far as I know, its been like that since the aluminum body started, at least. Nothing wrong.

Yep, normal.

I have the opposite issue since I have drop-in liner...no drainage at all. Everytime it rains I seem to gather a 10 gallong puddle of water in my bed.
I am thinking about drilling 3-4 drain holes in the liner to resolve this situation.
