Ok, like a dummy I watched a YouTube video showing how to display different start up images. When i got into the menu, I didn’t find what I was looking for and say a button that said exit gracefully, which seemed like the proper way to back out of the settings menu. Well, my infotainment screen is now black and I can not figure how to turn it back on.

I promise to not watch YouTube videos anymore

There was someone else that did the here or on 14th gen. Anyway, I think it came back on its own a few hours later.

 

Yeah, if you turn off the truck and close all the doors, the system goes into a semi-standby state for a few minutes, and then should eventually shut off completely. If you just leave it alone for a bit, the next time you start the truck everything should be back to normal. So just shut it down for the night, go to bed, and by morning the screen and everything else should be working like normal. Worst case, find the fuse for the infotainment and pull it then put it back in.

 

What a silly, irresponsible thing to try to modify - shame on you!...
