Default Help with strange after effects of a windshield replacement.

So, I had my windshield replaced at the local Ford Dealer and when I got it back there are 2 problems. First I know is windshield related, second makes no sense.

First:
The 360 camera system is distorted. My front camera and passenger side cameras do not line up. This can be seen in great detail when looking at the lines in a parking spot.
Now, the windshield tech says he did not do anything that would affect the 360 camera, but it worked fine before and now it does not. See picture

Lines “lined up” before windshield was replaced, now it looks like that.

Second:
My Ford Pass App now has Hybrid/ Electric charging status messages (my truck is a 3.5 Ecoboost, NOT electric).
I know the app worked fine before the windshield install, because I had to unlock the truck remotely for the dealership (long story, but it was parked too close to their “signal jammer” and the key would not work).

3.5 Ecoboost, gas motor, unlocked the hybrid electric mod?? Lol

Got the special charging function, too bad it does not actually do anything… NOT!

I don’t know for sure if these things are related to the windshield install, but a few modules were reprogrammed as part of the work and now I have these problems.

Fortunately, the dealership paid for the windshield replacement because they damaged my original windshield, but they had an outside company do it (at the dealership). Now the glass company says they did not do anything, and the dealership seems to think they aren’t responsible since they did not do the work, but no one can figure out how/why it happened.

Any ideas???? Has anyone seen this before?

If it helps, they sent me a report with what was apparently done and which modules were effected. Keep in mind, this report was sent immediately after the work was done and BEFORE I picked up the truck and BEFORE I knew there was any problems.

I don’t know what to believe. The truck has only 21k miles on it, and we have the best Ford extended care plan up to 175k miles.

BTW, I just did a software update, and still have the stupid electric stuff on the app… ?!?

Any help or ideas will help me make sense of this.

Thanks in advance

Alignment of sensors is commonly necessary post windshield replacement. It's dealer's responsibility as their subcontractor did the job.

Fordpass is seeing everyone (?) as a lightning right now. That will stop one day. Don't worry about it.

Yay, the latest update to the app downloaded and now I don’t have a lightning anymore.
