hello all! I bought a 2021 f-150 lariat about a week and half ago now. Very well optioned. (360 co-pilot, power running boards, blue cruise, etc.) Got a notification last week that the pre-collision and adaptive cruise control was not available. Code read that the horizontal alignment was out of spec. (Alignment offset read 3.10 in forscan). The bracket doesn’t appear damaged. Tried to run the calibration multiple times and failed. Bought a new CCM radar and had the same code after programming in and running the calibration with no success. I put in the old one back in (just so I can take it to ford), and it started working again for a day or two, and then quit again. I’m just looking for any ideas on what it could possibly be or what I could do before bringing it to Ford tomorrow.

Those warnings have been reported by some folks. But when they happen it's typically at start up and disappear, with everything working fine.

My guess is trucks battery is low on juice and just can't boot up everything at the same time.

Chances are good your truck sat on the lot discharging happily and needs to be driven. Alternatively, it's time to replace the battery.

 

When you tried to calibrate the CCM with FORScan, exactly what happened? Did it fail with an error code, or did it get huing up at 99% and not completing?
