Heating/Cooling Issue
My 22 f150 is less than 2 weeks old and has been in the shop 4 times already, and dealer currently has the truck. My issue is that when I set the temp to anything in the 60s the air that blows out is over 100 which makes it's extremely uncomfortable. The only way I can get cool air is to set it to LO (59) The dealer has no clue how to fix this and has reach out to engineering. At this point I have also argued to get a new truck bc this was obviously defective before I took it... Has anyone ever heard of this issue? Thank you
Mine is somewhat similar, ‘22 with 3900 miles. On a very cold morning, I generally have to set the temp around 64 to have it be comfortable. My old 2013 seemed like 72 was the magic number. Below that it was cold, above it was uncomfortably hot. This current truck seems much more sensitive. 62 is still warm, but not quite warm enough. The A/C works fine and was plenty cold the few times used it. I just assumed it was a quirk of the truck…it works fine, just seems like awfully low numbers for heat.
Mine does this as well. My personal and company truck both are 2022 one is a Tremor an one is a Lariat. What is odd it doesn't do it all the time. The company truck is the worst I sometimes have to put it on lo just so I don't get to hot.
Gosh, I hate that. Mine's always HIGH or LOW because thermostats never get it right. Before, it was just a swipe to one side. Now, it's click, click, click, click, click, click.. 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, HI
