Default heated mirrors?

22 f150 Lariat 500A. have the power fold/telescoping mirrors. Fords website says they are heated. How to I turn them on? I did learn today that you don't auto fold them when an ice/storm storm comes. They froze closed, had to use a heat gun to melt the ice to allow them to open.

. Usually for things like this, check through the manual for references.

[QUOTE=Mash150;7131749]. Usually for things like this, check through the manual for references.

I wish they included a paper book copy for quick reference. I hate trying to find things in the onboard manual especially or even the web based one. or at least have the option to request a paper manual

If you are able to download the 22 owners manual as a PDF file, I find it is way easier to find what you are looking for by doing a search in the PDF file, rather than sorting through pages and pages of a paper owner manual.

Just my opinion, but that is how I find what I am looking for in the manual.

On the '21 heated mirrors come on with the Rear Defroster button. I'm assuming that '22 have a dedicated mirror heater button as noted above.

There is No button for mine. Not sure if the manual is showing manual hvac controls with a heated mirror button, but my lariat with auto climate has no such button. They work as stated above, when the defrost is on.
