Default Headlight turn on by itself?

Had the truck parked for 9 days, got a deep sleep mode/remote feature disabled notification yesterday. drove her for 10 min today, parked, locked. 30 min later I noticed head lights were on. unlock lock won't do anything. had to manually turn headlight switch to turn it off. any ideas?

First of all, driving 10 minutes did nothing for the battery's low state of charge. As far as the headlights being on, are you sure it was not your approach function?

no approach function, 301 package. Both keys were seating in the safety pouch on second floor when I noticed the light came on.

My truck has done that in the past. I would set the headlights to “Auto” and occasionally when I would shut the truck off, I’d get the warning that the headlights were “On”. When this happened, the indicator light on the switch would be dark. I would cycle the switch to “Off” and back to “Auto” and the problem would be solved. The dealer eventually determined that I had a bad switch.

Hi there. This headlight concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your F-150. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end.

2022 Tremor with the mid package here and I have had mine turn on by themselves also. First couple times I thought maybe I bumped the switch while getting out. Then one time my neighbor called me and told me my headlights were on,hadn’t used the truck in hours and was nowhere near it. Every time it has happened the only way to get them to turn off was to go out to truck and turn the headlight switch same as mentioned. No indicator light on switch lit until it was turned a couple clicks. Dealer did a quick check last time I was in for service and couldn’t find anything.

Mine has done the same at least three times.
