Default Halogen to Reflector Headlights

So I'm looking to upgrade my halogen headlights to the Reflector Headlights. Does anyone know if they're just a direct swap or will I need to have the truck reprogrammed at the dealer, is the harness completely different?
I originally didn't want the halogens but with the truck shortage and the price they were willing to give me for my 2019 POS I had to make the trade and essentially find one on the lot. The closest 302a was over 500miles away, so I went with a 301a Sport that was at my dealer. With how quick these trucks were disappearing I needed to make a decision quickly. I was able to live without some of the features. I legitimately couldn't keep my 2019 any longer and with the used car sales I couldn't pass up the trade. (Funny thing went to dealer today my 2019 sold and its back in the shop the service writer said for the transmission 5k after new one was put in, so glad I ditched that truck).

I've already put LED bulbs in the halogen housings but would like the reflector housings if it is possible to switch out plug/play.. Any insight would be appreciated if I can just do the direct swap on them or not or if it is a completely different wiring harness. Thanks in advance.

You already have halogen reflectors. If you are trying to get OEM LED reflectors, no, they are not plug and play, the wiring is different. It is also not a wise decision to put LED bulbs in a Halogen housing, as the pattern is very different.

In the previous year trucks you could upgrade from the factory halogen reflector lights to the OEM HID or LED headlights. Going from Halogen to HID(09-14) only required a harness. The 15+ trucks required a harness and programming to work correctly. I think once there are more 21 trucks are on the road i would bet that someone will release a harness allowing the swap.

Saw on IG, boostedgreygoosedesigns is working on a harness, and I've seen a few others but some looked questionable. Boosted grey goose designs have a harness for the tails already.

If thats the case then Boosted Grey Goose is exactly who you want to get the harness from. His stuff is top notch quality!

Great stuff, I gave him a follow and will keep an eye on his page! I have the base halogen lights but if his harness works with the OEM Reflector lenses (next model up) or the projectors (higher end models) I will purchase those housings and get his harness. Thanks for the info! Hopefully they come out soon!
