From factory adjustment is sometimes poor. Some folks just needed to adjust the lights up a bit and they were fine with it.

It does have a V8 though, and jeez does this thing actually almost have too much power....

I come from older Toyota sedans with halogens, and I have to say (granted headlamps may have been a bit coated in winter grime on the F150) that my old Corolla has better low and high beams than the F150 Halogens.

They just don't seem to shine very far it seems. Like the world is just more dim.

I'm sure I could manage a truck with these lights but are the LED (without the adaptive turning) a "huge" improvement? I don't need the best of the best but I live in a rural area and lights do matter. With that said I've been in other cars with LED lights and they're bright/intense but don't shine very far either. They have a bad cutoff on the low beams.

I'd probably prefer not to go aftermarket or add LED bulbs to halogens. I hate people that do that and blind me and I'd be a hypocrite if I did it to other people.
I believe you need the 302A luxury package on a XLT to get factory LED's now.

My truck has halogens and they are vastly superior to the previous generation halogens. I wouldnt mind an upgrade to LED's, but I dont feel its needed. On my 2019 it was a must as I couldnt see sh%t.

Thanks for the feedback. I can't imagine how bad the previous halogens must have been then!

just bought a set of AUXITO H11 led bulbs for the low beam. went with projector hid retrofit route on my last vehicle, great result but was a pain in the **s to do, had to bake the headlight housing open etc. I don't think blinding upcomming traffic is an issue just adjust headlight to maintain the same pattern, I'll probabily adjust them to point even lower to account for rear sag when towing.

I had them in my 2015 and they were worse than horrible. About like early 1970s sealed beam headlights. My 1985 Bronco II sealed beam halogens were way better than OEM in the 2015. Swapping over to LED drop in made a huge difference.

The halogens on my 2022 F150 STX are without a doubt the worst headlights of any vehicle I have ever been in at night..Would love to change to LED bulbs but my fear is I would be creating other problems..Anyone here put the CREE OEM H11 and 9005 led's in their late model F150 halogens?

Sometimes I feel like they're not even on. I didn't realize how bad they are until I started noticing how good I could see when I had a vehicle next to me on the highway and I could see better using their headlights! Lol.
