Hey, all! First post. Just joined.

So, Ford emailed me my VIN today. My order was for an XLT with the 3.5L Ecoboost. But for whatever reason, when I track the order, it says it's a Lightning.




It's weird. When I check my vehicle features, everything seems right, including the engine. Under Packages, though, my trim level (301A) isn't listed. Should it be?



Anyone else experience this strangeness?

It is common, others see the same or similiar screen with the Lightning. Threads say this snafu is being worked on by Ford, but mine has been like this for weeks. Im belive when we get to about a week out from our scheduled build, our sticker and correct veh info will fill in.

Are there any dealerships near NWFL that are taking custom orders? No one near me will let me place an order.

I once tried to deal with labelled goods from a warehouse. Generally speaking, transport is a rather painstaking process, involving several stages at once. As a buyer, I have rarely had much luck, perhaps. The most reliable thing is to get a sendungsverfolgung code to track the goods. The rest is nonsense. Together with the goods a delivery note is sent to the recipient. It always states the place of dispatch, which is the legal address to which the courier or vehicle must arrive in order to deliver the goods. And this is where the problems of delayed shipments come in; customers may receive parcels late.

Default Tracking Question

Ordered truck 7/29/21. About a week ago the status showed as In Production and I was able to view the Window Sticker, which showed a blend date of 11/16/21.
I now get the following "This vehicle is not yet available in order tracking, please check back in a few days".
Can anyone explain this change have I been bumped from the production list?

Also in NWFL, local dealers have no interest in taking orders, would rather mark up what they get in. Ended up ordering with Chip from Granger Ford in Iowa. At 3% below invoice well worth the flight out to take delivery.

Mine now says built and awaiting shipping with an ETA delivery of 11/27. My build has bedliner and wheel liners, does all this happen before shipping or is this awaiting shipping to port to install and then dealer? Build in KC dealer in STL.

Ours did the same thing once in production. I don't believe there's a problem with the truck, only with the tracker.

I have a question on my order that I just noticed. In the body of the order where it lists my customized choices, it also says Job #2 order. Why would it say that? Does that mean to intentionally put it off?
