Would this work if your truck was on a derailed train?

The caveat will be that your dealer MUST have your order entered into the COVP program.

I'm assuming this replaces all previous incentives from the '21 order date? I ordered in September, so I had 0% for 72 Mo + 1k bonus cash, standalone additional 1k bonus cash, 2k private offer.... Ie 0% for 72 + 4k

Switching to 0% + 1k or even the current 1.9% + 1k ( 1.9 + $4,500) would still be a worse deal. AND the build went up $2k with the model year swap...

Would the extra $3500 and $1000 be on top of whatever price we had negotiated through our dealers or is this meant to replace the incentives at time of order we were getting for our 21's?

Anthony, As usual thanks for sharing this news - always appreciated. I'm going to reach out to Chapmans in PA. They already said my 2021 in COVP (they sent me a screen shot) would not be pulled for scheduling and reordered the same build as a 2022 on Oct 1st with the same order number. Minor price difference of $565.

I'm surprised your King Ranch build went up $2K for 2022. Mine only went up $565. Base price went up $215, but lockable rear seat storage is now a standard feature, which was a $215 option in 2021 - so that's a wash. BlueCruise went up $400, 601A Pkg went up $135, and Interior Work Surface went up $30.

Actually looks like 2k was a but over (looked at it too fast) $1,585 MSRP increase ($79,085 --> $80,650 pre-discount). Invoice went up about $1,450 as well.

Big one for me beyond what you mentioned was adaptive steering not being standard as it was in '21, that was a $1k adder.

Yes, this is stackable with current incentives.

So how will this work? Place a '22 order using the same order number when the Order Book opens? As of last Thursday, my Dealer said the Order Book hadn't opened yet.

Order banks opened on 9/30. Yes, they'll just need to copy the order.

So I will increase my discount from ($1,000 + $2,500) $3,500 to ($1,000 + $3,500) $4,500. Still another thousand off is good and get to keep my line in build.

You won't be able to stack private offers, which is typical.

But why would people who qualify with plans be kept from retail offers? That's like saying, "Your employee discount is good only against full MSRP, you dont get the sale price." It seems the incentive is based on waiting and model year change. I got a great deal on a 2015 Lariat 502A with a plan when those were delayed- $6000 off years back after all discounts were added up.

D plan is always excluded from private offers, so nothing new there, but we can get 0%. Our price is far below invoice, so it is still a good deal.

Yes, this is just an extra private offer.

I am still being told by my dealer that the '22 Order Bank is not open. Why would they be telling me that if it weren't true? How could they not know it? I'm in Nashville, so it's not like I'm in Canada.

That explains it - Adaptive Steering. I already had it as an option on my 2021 order because it seems it was dropped as a standard feature on Job 2 of both the King Ranch and the Platinum. If I didn't have it already as an option, my increase would have been $1565, right in line with you.

Forgive me for venting

But Toyota had problems too and would jerk you about as well methinks.
