Does anyone have experience with the gator trax tonneau cover and the automatic tailgate? Will the tailgate open and close?

 

I'm almost sure all tonneau covers have no problem with the tailgate opening and closing. I have the factory tonneau and I can't see it interfering with the tailgate.

 

On my gator rollup, I have to unlatch the cover before I close the tailgate or else it just bumps into it and wont close. I unlatch the cover, close the tailgate, then click down the cover on top of the gate. Only thing that I don't like about it. Was cheap and has kept stuff I've transported back there dry though.
