Default Fuses not seated

I have read on this thread about fuses and relays not properly seated. Today I thought I would check the fuses and relays in the fuse box under the hood . Well I found that at least 95% of all the fuses and relays were not properly seated. So if you get random weirdness from you electronics etc, check your fuse box. Just a thought.

......There is also a fuse box inside the cab behind a panel on passenger side front floor foot well. I would check it as well for fuses not fully seated and there is a ground wire that might not have a bolt through it. There is a wire with a connector related to the inverter on powerboost trucks located under hood near drivers side firewall that connector may be not fully seated causing intermittent issues. Just thought I would add to your great suggestion.

Great suggestion. What's sad is that the dealer should catch this in their PDI (or even better, it leaves the factory properly seated).

I'll tell you something about PDI's... Years ago I worked at a place that sold new and used forklifts, but I'm sure this applies to the automotive sector as well.

A PDI includes, if you're lucky, the tech pulling the engine oil dipstick. If you're really lucky, he may actually check the level on the dipstick.

Put the dipstick back in, and as every tech knows, that was the easiest $375 that the dealer could ever earn.
