Front grill camera
A while back I was poking around in the selectable options on the center info screen. I turned on rear camera delay (something similar anyway) and now when I shift out of reverse, the overhead and rearview stays on for several seconds after shifting to drive. What is really cool is that if I am parked close to a curb or tree, etc and I plan on going forward, I will shift into "reverse" first then "drive" and I can use overhead camera view to see if I am too close to anything or maybe grandkids left a toy. I am sure I could select the camera with switches but this is quick and easy and I don't have to think. (way over rated...lol)
You’ll need to remove and disassemble the grill to get at the emblem and camera. There are a couple videos on YouTube on removing the grille. Then separate the electronic louvres to access the emblem and camera. It’s not too difficult but will take at least an hour.
the only thing I’ve found so far a company called naviks makes an interface where you can add front or side cameras or all. It’s pricey at 750 but usually on sale for 550 plus a 100 dollar camera
