Well, I'm still having the issue. The new hub didn't change anything. Now they are wondering if it could be something with it being a powerboost (which I am pretty certain it is not). It is coming from the driver front wheel, not the middle of the truck where the generator is.

anyone get this resolved? I had mine in a few months ago and the returned with no trouble found. now it is making noise quite often, especially when turning and braking. it's intermittent though, usually goes away after driving for 15 min.

I had this issue as well. Grinding noise could be heard only as you came to a stop. Noise would go away after about 10-15 min of driving and wouldn't return until it was parked for some time. It was the IWE. After waiting about a month I asked the dealer about finding one to replace it as they are back-ordered. They found one at another dealer somewhere and had it shipped, but apparently the other dealers don't have to release it if they don't want to. GOOD LUCK!

So, I get a bit of whiring noise. Sounds like it's coming from the front right. Not sure if it's the same issue or not.
I can hear it, but there is no vibration or feedback in the steering wheel.
It happens on the same road everyday, it's a long uphill curve with my steering wheel turned slightly to the right. It goes away when I get to the straight section.

I have checked my wheel bolts and even thought it was my tires, but still there with my summer tires installed.

Hi there! I can look into your F-150's noise concerns on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your F-150’s VIN?

Clicking noise

Mine is doing similar. When I am making turns either slow or faster its clicking. It does it more when its been driving a while and hot.

that sounds more like a CV joint

I had my truck in for the 3rd time with this complaint and it came back with no fault found. The dealer says they drive it and it it sounds fine. Thats how it is with me 80% of the time. but for whatever reason when it starts making the noise it's extremely evident. I wish I could figure out a way to invoke it to make the noise. Otherwise the dealer will not look into it further

Hi there. This noise concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Ford F-150. Could you please send us a DM with your VIN and dealership information? I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end!

I thought it was just mine! This makes me at least happy that I'm not the only one. Mine does exactly as the others described, sounds like a grind and coming from the front end almost like the 4 wheel drive is engaging? I have driven to the Ford dealer more than once and either its not doing it when I get there or the writer couldn't hear it so I left. I know eventually it will fail completely but I really want if fixed before that happens not to mention that I believe it is robbing gas mileage. Ford please help!!!
