All I can say is it works in my 2021 and I never noticed it before. I didn't get any recent notifications of an update. The feature just sort of appeared. I've known about it on Ford cars for a while.

I'm curios if it is a feature the rest of you have by default? or if I turned in on as a ForScan test and forgot about it.
are you talking about the profile you can set up? My 21 had that by default. And my 24 as well. I think all that have sync 4 and memory seats get that since it relies on the memory buttons.

Got a question on DRL's on a 2024 XLT. They no longer have the C channel DRL. Instead they utilize the thin sliver amber turn signal for the DRL When looking at my 24 XLT asbuild, I find at BCM 726-38-01 the second digit of the first octet X*XX is 1 which to me seems to indicate 1 = DDRLWLBOC INHIBIT. So, would I be correct to believe changing to 0 = DDRLWLBOC ALLOW? Then to allow my low beam headlights to become DRL's then changing 1st & 2nd digit of the second octet of 726-38-01 to 4B would allow 75% illumination of the low beams to act as DRL's.

Or am I barking up the wrong tree?
Thanks all

I installed the wire harness at the back of my '21 Job 1 XLT as required to get TPMS, yaw sensor and wired trailer camera. Now I can't find the FORScan settings to enable the TPMS, as available on a SuperDuty, if any changes are required. I browsed the FORScan spreadsheet but the function descriptions are really cryptic and I don't want to break something.

I was looking at the spreadsheets yesterday and noticed they had been updated at the end of April. The Vgate vLinker FS USB is no longer listed as a recommended OBD 2 cable. Does anyone know why it was removed from the list?

second is when turning on walk away lock i get the message that the feature is not available at this time. bcm changes were made to have that on

I recognize this is going to be an atypical request, but though I would throw it out there and hope the universe will bless me with an answer. I have a 2018 Ford F150 Lariat (yes, I know this is not the correct thread) and I also have a SYNC4 APIM. I am going to tinker and see if I can get it to work in my truck. Mostly because I am looking for OEM wireless carplay. I have my SYNC3 APIM (7D0) as-built and I downloaded the 2021+ Forscan spreadsheet that includes all of the info for the APIM.

I quickly realized that settings have been moved around and I know as well that there are new settings in SYNC4 that do not appear in SYNC3 at all. I have a couple of questions and I am hoping that someone can help.
  1. There are new or different abbreviations in the SYNC4 spreadsheet. Is there a master list anywhere of what all of the abbreviations or acronyms mean?
  2. Is there any documentation that shows this SYNC3 setting got moved to this SYNC4 location? <-- I realize this is a longshot, but doesn't hurt to ask.

it should boot up but your biggest hurdle is going to be communicating with it since the sync 4 apim uses a 2 wire Ethernet connection instead of hs1 for communication that sync 2/3 uses. You will have to remove the hs1 wires from the apim plug as well before it will work. There is a good chance you will lose your modem as well by doing this unless you get the right setting turned on. But that might be sync 4 version based as well. Of the 2 spins I have one sees the modem and one does not.

Default Delete phone menu in center stack

On my 24 every time I have an incoming or outgoing phone call it automatically comes up in the center stack behind the steering wheel as well as the Sync screen. Trouble is once the call is over I have to manually go into the center stack main menu and clear out the call menu to get back to the my view screen. Is there a way in ForScan to just eliminate the phone menu out of the Main menu?

@redbroncokid Check the Autorelock timer in the BCM. 726-58-02
