So it can open on the highway accidentally and cause a pileup.

Yes, I got this Recall update last Friday, But my Ford-Pass app and my Ford account online still showing it needs to be done in the recall section.

Sorry if this was asked & answered, but I didn't see it.

Does the FORScan changes for "Enable Cameras at Speed' apply to ALL the cameras, or just the rear/hitch views?

I have the lastest Power-Up, BlueCruise and I already have the three rear/hitch camera views @ speed without making the FORScan mods for this.

Just wondering if I'll get other cameras at speed or if those mods were just for the ones I already have. Thx.

Only the rear cams. You only get the looking straight down hitch-cam, the bed/cargo cam and a neutered version of the backup cam (has the black box with warning text right in the middle).

The only way to get a front cam at speed is to do the “Enable OffRoad (Rock Crawl, Mud/Ruts, and Deep Snow/Sand) Front Camera at Speed” mod. It obviously enables 4x4 and might kick off the cam after a certain speed but I haven’t tested it yet.

It looks like this:

Thanks for the 411. I've got the 3 rear views with the latest Sync4 updates, so I'll try out the above and see what happens at speed ...

Not sure about this but PowerBoosts might have fake engine noise in a different module location than other models.

I know that I disabled fake engine noise on a 2021 EcoBoost in the DSP in April of 2021
783-01-01 Exxx xxxx xxxx before any OTA updates.

My PowerBoost DSP is currently configured this way. I changed it within the first month of ownership and never really noticed any difference (compared to what I had been used to on my other F150s when I disabled it).

On the PowerBoost in the ACM
727-01-01 xxxx xxxx 1xxx
is a factory EV sound profile by the description.

I am currently testing:

783-01-01 Exxx xxxx xxxx
727-01-01 xxxx xxxx 0xxx

Next I will test:

783-01-01 Fxxx xxxx xxxx
727-01-01 xxxx xxxx 0xxx

My question in the meantime is, what are these by default on different powertrain equipped 2021 F150 and have the defaults changed after any OTA updates or between 2021 - 2022 model years?

783-01-01 *xxx xxxx xxxx
727-01-01 xxxx xxxx *xxx

Both F150’s referenced have the 18 speaker B&O system and Im looking through the old data.
I will post an update on this later.

5.0 also has the 18 speaker B&O system.

Possibly.

In the BCM there is a park range setting which may influence how other features operate, it may also depend if your F150 has an RGTM. If you do enable tailgate release while not in park, I suspect it will still be subject to VSS threshold lockout controlled via PCM (which can not be overridden). So, if you are trying to operate your tailgate while slowly rolling up to the Home Depot drive through for example, that may be possible, but controlling your tailgate remotely while driving down the street should not be possible.

Maybe you could experiment with these and find an answer. Reference the spreadsheet of course, but this is where you will find some of the relevant logic in the BCM as a starting point.

I don't see anything for Trailer Sway Control in the TRM module, does anyone know if I can turn this off by default. Every time I start the truck when towing it automatically turns back on.

Thanks,

Jim
