Until I post the 2021 F150 BCM spreadsheet you can use the 2020 Super Duty BCM spreadsheet I did for the guys on the Super Duty forum over here if you want: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=1610233996

The '20 Super Duty BCM is using the same format but the '21 F150 BCM has some additional addresses.

The new gen LED projectors will almost definitely be more expensive than the previous gen LEDs (since they incorporate dynamic bending) which were already around $2500 once all was said and done. I got my tails for $500 but that was luck. They retail for $700 a piece. Granted I will be able to part out those parts when I sell the truck so my total investment is less than $3000.

I had the same thought process as you since I had done the same with my 2011 F150. It was only about $900 to add the upgraded headlights. If I had known it was going to be 3-4K to add those parts I would have just bought the 502A Lariat.

Only problem is that I do not like the maroon panels in the Lariat sport. So if I ponied up for the 502A, I’d be trying to swap them out. Line of thinking is a 302A with the added rebates will be overall cheaper to get it how I want. Especially if I’m patient and source parts from salvage yard. If any aftermarket lights come out that I like, that will further reduce overall cost. And honestly, I prefer the XLT speedo/tach. If I decide to pony up for a higher trim, I’ll just jump to the KR but then you’re talking $12k+ MSRP cost and fewer rebates.

Totally agree with you on the strange choice Ford made with giving Sport models that ugly interior. One reason I am holding out another year in hopes that interior changes for 2022.

I kinda like the two tone interior. They changed up the monotone black but to each their own. Love the KR seats though...

On the topic of Auto Stop/Start - a/k/a A.S.S.

The 20+ Explorer/Aviator guys haven't been able to use the method that worked for 2015-2020 13th gen F150s without triggering a light on the dash. This is probably because that method disabled the BMS system.

In 13th gen F150s, you could change 726-48-02 x?xx xxxx xxxx from 1 to 0 and it would kill A.S.S.

The corresponding location for that on 14th gen 2021MY+ F150's is 726-65-01 xxxx x?xx xxxx - does changing that from a 1 to a 0 kill A.S.S? Does it throw a light? If so, I wonder what else is required to do a full BMS system defeat without lights?

But something that stood out to me as another possible avenue reading through @Livnitup 's spreadsheet on the 2020+ SuperDuty is 726-06-02 xxxx xxxx x?xx, which is described as:

HW_PIN_Cfg ENUM: 0=ALLOWFULLSRC_ALLOWSS 1=SRCNODISCHARGE_ALLOWSS 2=FORCECONVCHG_ALLOWSS 3=ALLOWFULLSRC_SSOFF 4=SRCNODISCHARGE_SSOFF 5=FORCECONVCHG_SSOFF
0 is default on the vehicles I've looked at. Does "ALLOWSS" and "SSOFF" correspond to Stop Start? I'm curious what happens when you change the default 0 to a 3 there.

Glad to see some activity on this front. Waffling between an XLT 302A and King Ranch but if I can make the following changes to the XLT with minor hardware and/or Forescan changes, I’ll do that and save some money! Made quite a few changes to my ‘16.

- Wireless charger
- Power tow mirrors
- Stock LED projectors and LED tails
- 4A (I’m hopeful in this one but not holding my breath). This is the only thing that may force me into a higher trim.

Save your money on the LED projectors. I have had dynamic bending headlights before, WAY over-rated, and actually a liability if you plan to keep your truck a long time (and won't be covered by warranty anyways) because they are never a good idea long-term. The MSR (multi-surface reflectors) LEDs on the 302A should be great, you don't need bendy lights.

The 4A is supposedly doable for around $1,000. Just need to confirm that Forscan can do it on the 21+, which seems definitely going to happen.

I used Forscan on my 2018. I tried it with my 2021 and it will not connect. How are you connecting?
