I seen on the 2014-2018 Chevy and GMC they break in and pop the hood, swap the pcm and drive off within 5 minutes. Not sure how the bypass the alarm and onstar. In 2018 the GMC Sierra was the #1 most stolen vehicle. I wonder how they steal the new F150.?

Curious what makes up $7500 of damage? Normally if the truck is a target to be stolen, it will have 2 outcomes.
1.. It is stolen to be exported and sold
2.. It is stolen to be used in other crimes.
In the first one, they would be pretty careful not to do too much damage. The 2nd one, they don't care but they normally try to target vehicles where the theft will take time to be noticed.
Now if they were looking for specific items in the truck, the intent most likely was not to steal it.

See above. Nothing was visible inside the vehicle. The Ford dealer quoted $7,500 to replace both front windows, replace grille, fix shutters inside grill, replace horn, replace lock and locking mechanism in front passenger door, and replace leather door panel on front passenger side because the thieves scratched the leather.
