FordPass app
Just picked up my 2021 Platinum build today. NICE!! 3.5 Eco, 3.55 Electronic Locking Axle, Off Road Package, Max Trailer Tow., Ect. I also have a 2001 F-150 and have been getting advice and occasionally posting in that forum.
But the problem I have is with the '21. When I picked it up from the dealer today and I or we is should say tried to Activate the '21 in the FordPass app. The app loaded the '21 in but the Activation Button would not appear. We removed and
added it back in several times both by manually inputting the VIN and scanning the barcode on the driver door jam several times still no activation button. Dealership attributed it to poor cellphone or wifi signal and to try again when I get home. I did so, even deleting the app
and reinstalling then adding back in the '21. Still no activation button.
So I called FordPass from the app and spoke with them. They looked up the build date and then told me there is an advisory for that problem and has nothing to do with wifi or cell signal. They gave me a case number
and told me to call dealership up and give them the number for repair.
Has anyone else had this problem or know what the advisory is?
