Default Ford Protect Plan

When I purchased my new 2024 F150XLT in Mar of this year I purchased an extended service plan on it. I couldn't see it listed anywhere on the Ford site, Ford app, or the OASIS report. After further looking into in and calling the dealer I discovered that the dealer sold me an Allstate extended service plan instead of the official Ford Protect Plan. Now I am getting constant emails encouraging me to buy the Ford Protect Plan before I get 12,000 or one year on the vehicle. Has this happened to anyone else and what is your experience with the Allstate plan. I feel like I got scammed but maybe not. Thanks for any help or info offered.

I would prefer a Ford warranty. Check on getting a refund, then see one of the dealerships on this site that sell Ford warranties at a very good price.

Take a look at your original paperwork. It should have mentioned they sold you a Allstate plan not a Ford plan. If it doesn't say Allstate, you might be able to get them for Fraud aka bait and switch. Then, I'd call Allstate to find out what is and isn't covered and at what rate. Allstate generally has good insurance policies so it might be a good bang for the buck. Time for some research. Good luck on this.

Extended protection plans can be worthwhile depending on how long you intend to keep the vehicle and how much you drive each year. Reading real owner experiences is usually the best way to evaluate the value. During a break from comparing coverage options, I visited Sweet Bonanza official before continuing my research.
