He gave approximate discounts from Flood & Ziegler, both of which you can look up pricing online. That will give you the approximate dealer cost. As far as typical cost when buying the same plan from the dealer, it was ~50% more from the dealer when I got my truck.

I got it from Ziegler with the pay in full discount, so still a deal. I think it was ~$20 less than Flood that way. Both were still much better than what the dealer was selling them for. The finance guy said there was no way he could match their pricing and to just buy it from them later. The only real benefit to getting it from the dealer is that it is easier to finance the purchase at a low interest rate then.

The Flood Ford esp site lays out all the options/prices/coverages in charts after entering vehicle info. I assume prices at Granger are a little cheaper based on the OP. Someone can correct me if wrong.

Remember folks when choosing your deductible that you pay the deductible every time you take it in. So if you take it in and lets say, the dealer cannot duplicate the issue, you are out the deductible. Also remember that some items, can end up being cheaper for you to repair, than paying your deductible for the repair. While very convenient to take to a dealer and get real Ford parts, there may be a time if you have say a 100 or higher deductible, the deductible could be more than the repair. This happened with my sons edge and a blend door actuator. Food for thought, I suggest $50 at the most. Look at the savings and see how many times you can take the truck in before the savings is eaten up.

If you chose, lets say 7y/100k miles, is this 7 years after the original 3 years 36k bumper to bumper or we pay for the original 3/36 once again and than 4 more years/64k more miles?
In regards to my question earlier about financing, are you accepting PayPal as a payment?

Thanks.

warranty starts the day you bought the truck. So if you wait 2 years and buy 7 year you have 5 left.

That's correct we're$50 cheaper.

We're working on a website to make this easier as well.

Flood will sell to Canadians if you buy online and give them a US address. Many Canadians have done it.

If you purchase a plan from Zielger, you can finance for 12 months 0 interest. You just have to put half down up front.
