Default Fender Flares

Anyone got an opinion on the best ones? I’m a big fan of Rough Country stuff but not sure how I feel about the “pockets” on theirs. Don’t like the ones with the exposed fasteners either. Just something simple with good quality would be amazing. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

My buddy put those SF1 flares on his 22 XLT. He painted them to match the body color and they look great. I didn't even notice the pockets initially.

Bushwhacker extend a flare. That's what I would get if I wanted to do this.

Ordered the SF1s today and found a local shop to paint them when they come in so I’m pretty excited.

I ordered a set of these as “open box” from American trucks.

I ended up giving them to a friend who put them on his truck (blue truck pictured here).

the reason why I did not keep them is, you can’t easily have fender flares with mud flaps, without cutting, trimming, and/or heavily modifying one or both. And because I need the mud flaps more than flares, I gave him the flares. Other than that I loved them.

It was also nice that I only paid $45 total for the set with tax and shipping ($38 + tax and shipping) as an open box. Nothing wrong with them and included all the hardware. Not too bad since they were about $200 new.

Here is a link to AmericanTrucks.com :

And I’m sure some of you won’t believe me about the $45 price so, here is the invoice:

Keep an eye on that website and look for the open box deals, sometimes they are a steal.

Hope this helps.
