Default Factory Order Dealers

I would like to factory order a new F150. I have used the build and price website, but can't find anything in inventories close enough to what I want. Are they still taking orders? What are some of the best dealers for this service? I live in Florida, but would be willing to travel if that makes sense. Thanks.

Just go to your local ford dealer and sit with a salesman and build your truck on the Ford website. Have it delivered to the dealer. We just did that last year with our Bronco. Doesn't cost you anything until the vehicle arrives.

almost like my case... I decided to do it via Granger... only difference in Doc Fees covers my trip.
My local dealers didn't want to negotiate price on custom orders (I believe they were more interested in moving metal they already had on their lots)

I realize I could go to my local dealer, but I keep reading stories about dealers just going thru the motions, not really that interested, etc. So I'm looking for people to recommend dealers where they had really go experience, and decent prices.

I'm planning to place an order with Granger for a 2024 F-150 if they can still do 3% under invoice pricing.

as mentioned - the issue with dealers around here are the over 1k in fees they usually throw in on top of other fees that are also higher than average. Ordering somewhere and driving it back may still save quite a few bucks.

The dealership in Mt Airy NC is a 9.5-10 hr drive from central fl, have only used their service department so can't comment on sales

If you don't mind driving to Houston...call David Watson at Tommie Vaughn Ford. He will give you the price over the telephone and he doesn't have to get permission from the mysterious "back office."

Try Athens Ford in Georgia, they have treated me well with [2] F150s
