any exhaust component that is changed will not be covered under factory warranty, other components shouldn't be affected

Depends entirely on the dealer. If there is an issue find another dealer. Ford and Chevy dealers are far less likely to care than other brands. How many mustang and camaro or even half ton pickup have the factory exhaust after a month.

but yeah, dealerships have balked over less than a muffler.

My Ford dealer supplies and installs my Borla cat back exhaust.
If your dealer gives you any warranty grief over a cat back exhaust, you need to find a new dealer.

It's that 'gray area' much like suspension kits...if they can find a way to deny you coverage, they will.

This is why I buy my trucks lifted from the Dealer. Less hassle if something goes wrong, but I have done my share of aftermarket accessories. Shhh

I just purchased and installed a Magnaflow dual catback (19565) yesterday. I'm putting my Stock one back on and selling it. It's a day old. It's a bit too much for me these days. I loved it while I was younger, not so much now... Plus the wife hates it. It fits a 2021-2022 F150 if anyone is interested.
