Default Error Massage power train malfunction

Wife is driving the truck. 2000 miles on my lariat eco boost and I got a message from the ford app telling it is a problem with 4wd. We don’t keep the car in 4wd. Wonder what is going on here. Really sucks with so little miles to have this error. Anyone see this before?

I have had the same message intermittently over the past 2 weeks. Very random and without any apparent change in performance. I have only used 4A occasionally with rainstorms here lately since the Dynapro OEM tires have a very tuff time with moisture on the road.
Interestingly, I have noted that when the "service soon light" comes on that my fuel consumption indication on the center cluster drops approx 10mpg!(?).
Dealer stated drive on and come back after Christmas when I stopped by to schedule service.

Hello! Could you privately message us with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer so I can look into these 4wd and powertrain concerns for you? Thank you!

It is a truck, not a car.
You have a 4wd error message and you think it's a wastegate?

What makes you think that? How could a bad wastegate cause a 4x4 issue?
Did the message clear with a key off/on cycle?

What is a massaging power train? tee hee

I saw this thread and there are others. The message did go away but I’m guessing it is stored somewhere since I also see it on my ford app.
