Does anyone know if deleting the factory electronic locking rear and replacing it with something like an Eaton Truetrac with cause any warning messages/lights on the 2021 F150s. Also does anyone know off hand if any of the drive modes automatically engage the factory e-locker? I want to order the factory e-locker just to get a better gear ratio, but I also want to swap out the e-locker for a limited slip rear so I'm not driving around with an open diff 99% of the time.

 

I know if you put it in Deep Snow/Sand mode the rear end locks automatically

 

I was “paging” through the online manual the other day, and in the drive modes chapter there’s a table at some point that shows how each drive mode sets the 4WD and locker. I am very sure one or more modes set the locker, but I can’t remember which ones.

 

Speaking of such, does anyone know what the speed limiter is for the '21 E-Lock? I think the G13 trucks are 20mph.

So yeh seems like LSD is best option but prob have to disable/delete E Locker, and may get warnings. Not sure.
Might work together but seems redundant or they will fight eachother....Id like to know too.
