Noticed this morning that partial on my drivers side DRL was yellowish amber in color. Clearly the vertical side is still fine. 61k miles 21 lariat. Any suggestions?

 

I'm pretty sure there was a recall or TSB for this, which is partially why I think the 2024's have the two part DRL's instead of the continuous style like the 2021-2023's. Are you still under warranty? If so, I would let the dealer fix it.

 

no longer under warranty unfortunately. Have to replace entire assembly more than likely.

 

You might be able to just replace the ballast module instead of the whole assembly. I don't know if the left and right headlight ballast modules are interchangeable, but if so I would swap the one from the good headlight to see if that fixes it then just buy a used one on Ebay.

 

Gotcha. I’ll do some research and see if that could solve the issue. Don’t want to start pulling stuff apart to no avail on the fix

 

Saw a 21+ F150 the other day when I was driving home that only the very top portion of the DRL bar was lit. It was white right there where the yellow turn signal portion is. Both sides. The sides and the fog DRL weren't lit. Not sure if it was busted lights or a new setting that is available with FORSCAN or something.
