I assumed this being on mine they where on all of the F150’s and I’ve been pointing it out to anyone that gets in my truck lol. I had to pick up a loner today and noticed it didn’t have them. Are they just a cool little Easter egg for a certain region? An option? Who else has the map of Detroit on their door inserts?

 

I have it on mine in California, I like it.

 

I believe it’s for the XLT Sport Package.

There’s also an American flag on the air vent next to that trim.

No Detroit on Platinums

 

I think the map of Detroit on my doors is the dumbest thing. The last thing I want is a map of that cess pool of a city in my truck.

 

Downtown Detroit isn't all bad. Shoot, the Riverwalk down there was just named the best Riverwalk in the nation on USA Today. It's the weather that sucks 6 mos a year.

 

Your 100% right... The old reputation of Detroit is still there. It's actually really beautiful downtown... The casinos have accelerated the renovation of Downtown Detroit.

 

I love it. Should be on my XLT Sport when it gets built. Not on STX or upper trim levels I believe.
I think its got Dearborn and location of original Ford building(s) on it, but not Windsor across the river? (5.0) I wouldn't mind a KC version either.
Love the subdued American flag charging toward the fight/emergencies, seems to be on all trim levels?
But Canadian versions and other countries, get stripes without stars. Id like to see maple leaf on builds for Canada.
For me its nice to see some revitalized American/Detroit pride in the build.
