Default Delayed responses for some actions

I have noticed some delayed responses from certain actions. The ones I have noticed most are, when you grab the door handle there is a delay with the door unlocking, when you step on the brake there is a delay for the push start to start the truck and there is a delay with rolling down the windows when you start the truck. In my 2017 Lariat these were all instantaneous. Am I just imagining these things or has anyone else noticed these?

I noticed a delay once when opening the door... had to do a double take, but it may just have been me grabbing too quickly and letting go.

Other than that, my only delays are happening with the touch screen and, more specifically, when Android Auto is doing its handshake when I first enter the vehicle.

It's a glitch in the Matrix. Take the blue pill and it will be fine.

I think some people were having issues with batteries discharging.
Maybe your battery is weak and lower voltage is slowing down the electronics?

From what I understand, the door unlocks when you pull slightly on the handle then it opens as you pull on it again or pull it all the way out. If you pull slowly it gives the truck time to react and unlock all at once.

Modern vehicles have extensive networks of systems, controlled by the CPUs which are currently in short supply. And they work in real time. Very different from the PC you use at home. The point being, such complex systems sometimes take a brevity of moments to work through the plethora of choices/lookup values today's systems must make.

Open door/don't open door

I'd hope my truck can work that out faster than I can

I'm not comparing my truck to a home computer. I'm comparing it to my previous 2017 truck. The features were all exactly the same. In my 2017 I could press the break, the start button and the powered front windows all at the exact same instant and they would all work immediately. Now I know what I call the same instant obviously isn't with the speed of electrical pulses however in my 2021 this doesn't happen. Its always a delay. I have to push the start button again and the windows also

My door unlocks without pulling the handle at all. Just putting your handle inside the handle loop.

It’s not just your imagination; others have reported similar issues. It would be best to check the battery in your key fob, consult your vehicle’s manual for any reprogramming procedures, or visit a dealership or a professional mechanic to diagnose and resolve the issue. Purchase Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2021 with special offers on ProCADIS.com. They can check for any updates or recalls that might apply to your vehicle’s model and year.
