I would expect these trucks will go in to battery save mode pretty quick when not in use or hooked up to a maintainer.
Good to know. I just recently picked up my F150 and noticed it went into saver mode. I was going to install the battery maintainer today. Since it has been Christmas Break and New Year's Break. I have only put like 50 miles on it.

Charging the battery overnight and then resetting the BMS fixed it for me

Mine is a 2021 FX4. Had it for 4-5 months and got the battery saver warning. Did a full trickle charge, then took off the charger and let sit for a day. This solved it for a month or so then it started again with battery saver mode. This was an original H6 battery. Bought the truck used in early '24. Ended up replacing the battery for an H8 and although all I do are small 20 minute trips or less, it has not had a problem since I changed the battery. It has been 3 months since the new battery. Fingers are crossed.

Ok got my original receipts and dates straight. Bought replacement H8 AGM in 11/24. By 2/26 the issue is back. Took the truck back to Walmart and they replaced under warranty. I may be able to do this one more time but WTF! I shouldn't have to. This truck is killing batteries.

Some may know this but here is a more in depth look at Auto Stop Start.
It was Patented to Ford in 2009.
For those who can read and understand the description, PDF is on the Internet.
.
Quite complex, but an overview.
A. The Battery being an AGM puts a limit on charging trying to prolong Battery service life.
B. BMS programming tries to address these requirements to a reasonable degree possible.
C. The charging control has to be limited on a sealed cell Battery to prevent over-heating for the wide range of usage over the Country's weather patterns from very hot to very cold. There is no selection on this. Everyone gets the same.
D. Upon restart, The BCM has a DC to DC Inverter on the BCM Module platform.
This checks the Battery SOC and makes a decision to either a Go or inhibit Auto Start if Battery voltage detected as too low.
If too low, it triggers a message on Dash Screen to manually start the engine. At this point, the Battery is still able to crank the engine and not leave the vehicle stranded. >>a warning to have the issue understood or resolved.
E. The Inverter will take Battery voltage, if somewhat low, and raise it to feed about 5 circuits that are absolutely needed to support Auto Starting >> because the Starter will take so much Current at Cranking that will lower what's left of Battery state of charge and will drop voltage into the low 9 volt range or lower. If there is no Inverter, the needed circuits would not function.
F. In the 10R80 Trans, is an electric fluid pump that must supply fluid pressure to operate valve body functions or the vehicle cannot MOVE.
G. There is > fault detection <, and some 30 plus other requirements to be met that could inhibit the system, that are not actually faults.
.
There is your overview as much as I can Dumm down to understand a complex function.
One program Bit change is all it takes to make the function unavailable.
There are other ways but not preferred such as a test plug in the Trailer Jack. Towing does not use the feature and causes an inhibit to occur when Trailer is connected.
Disconnecting the Micro Processor Sensor at the Battery disables BMS Battery control. Not good to do. Taking wiring apart not good.
Raising SOC in program, can shorten Battery life >>as intended to be, in [this application. affects varying Battery life either way, over the long term.
The use of an AGM Battery and its charge limitations is the driving force behind the drive time required to keep the Battery up besides the vehicle features talking drain from the Battery, otherwise.
Good luck.
