Default Dealership Recommendations?

New to the forum, new to the Ford F150 (or hoping to be).

Is there a dedicated dealership that has partnered with the forum and provides any sort of discount? If not, does anyone have a dealership they recommend (location included) that tends to provide decent deals?

Thank you all for the help and look forward to joining you all soon!

Granger Ford in Granger Iowa is known for selling at a decent discount. Had I known about them before I ordered my truck I would have went with them.

How far are you willing to travel?
where are you located?
right now availability and a deal may require going a little further than you think if you have specifics in mind.
I flew nearly 1000 miles to get my truck.
The best dealer in the universe that has consistent deals might not be any good if they don’t have anything to sell.

Green Bean check Karl Malone Ford in El Dorado. Granger was $2,000 below invoice and Karl Malone did $1,500. Absolutely no hassle doing the deal. It’s in the middle of no where but they are good people.

Sounds like Granger in Iowa might be the best option (will also look into Karl Malone in El Dorado). I am in Dallas so its about a 11 hour drive, but considering what dealers here are charging/upcharging, its well worth it.

Do they apply those same type of discounts to factory orders? I am considering just waiting till the 2022 order banks open up in a month.

Keep in mind that if people didn't buy in the past few months, their feedback on discounts is largely irrelevant. There are virtually no rebates, using X-Plan is best for most, some dealers won't take it now.

Yes, X-Plan applies to orders. Rebates are time and model specific. $1,000 rebate to order now.

Yes they do. Several guys on the forums have ordered their trucks from them.

And dealers are not required to even offer that rebate. I qualified for the same rebate when I ordered my truck in April....but the dealership said that I didn't qualify because I didn't put down a deposit (which they never even mentioned a deposit when I ordered). I emailed AND called Ford about it....they just sided with the dealer and said that it was something that the dealer had to initiate. I called BS on that one though....as I should have qualified for it as per Ford website. But it is what it is.

Given that the dealership pays zero on a rebate, your dealer is one that should be avoided in the future.

I'm just wondering if there was a way that the dealership could have collected the rebate somehow for themselves. I got a $5K discount when I ordered in April...but by the time it was delivered in June...they, like most all the rest of dealerships were advertising all vehicles at MSRP with NO discounts. I guess I was lucky to even get the discount I had in writing in an email since I did not put down a deposit. So when I mentioned the rebate...and even showed it to them on the Ford website...the sales manager told me I didn't qualify. I think they claimed it for themselves somehow.
