Default Dealer damage

Hi all looking for some insight even anyone has experience with this. So I bought a 2023 f150 with the 5.0 absolutely love it. Dealer experience was actually fantastic. Was wrapping up paperwork and my sales man said let me see if the car wash was back open. It was previously closed/down for repair. It evidently was open and he washed it. I get my truck go on my way everything was great. I go to get some stuff out of the bed and realize that there is yellow streaks and scratches on the very top of my truck. And one of the plastic box's on top is cracked and broken the other has a massive yellow streak. I'm upset and texted my sales guy (they are closed bought on a Saturday) so hopefully il get some resolution tomorrow. With that being said should I be worried about water leaking into my cabin from broken plastic? I may not be able to get in til after Christmas hopefully since they damaged it it will be prompt.
Took only a few pictures here is the box in question

That doesn't look like carwash damage, that looks like someone drove it into a parking garage warning bar.

Thats a good point. I will talk to the dealer tomorrow. It only has 12k on it I didn't think I needed to get on top of the truck and look at it. The rest is immaculate. That makes more sense. It's a pretty reputable dealer so hopefully they will resolve this.

any idea if that's a leak point if left un treated? I don't want to tape anything up there and hurt the paint anymore

If it hasn't leaked yet I doubt it will leak in the next few days. If I am not mistaken that is one of the antennas, so it should be sealed underneath it.

if it was damaged before the car wash no water came in the cab so you may be right. i would tape it but i think anything i use isnt going to be good on the metal/paint

You were up in the bed before purchase and it was perfect, correct?

I live in the midwest and there was some ice in the bed on a plastic bed liner so I didn't think to get literally in it and check the top out. The rest of the truck was in great shape. I have a hard time thinking they hid this defect intentionally. It's a bigger well known dealership with a good reputation. Not that they still can't be slimy but compared to others I've dealt with other than this glaring issue it was a great experience.

The truck had virtually zero damage it was slightly used 12k miles so a stray swirl or scratch at the most but nothing deep or devaluing
