Considering power fold tow mirrors on my 2021 STX. Can the factory DDM and PDM handle that with the right wiring and forscan programming. Thanks.

 

If I were to guess, the modules themselves could handle it. But, you would need to most likely change the wire harness in the door, or add new wires. Also you would need a new master window switch, going off what I'm used to seeing in the Lincolns.

Sorry I don't have any real answers, just thoughts and guesses!

 

as long as you buy the right switches and wiring harnesses and program correctly in Forscan you can add everything

 

Thanks for the replies. I can handle adding the switch and wiring. Just wasn’t sure if there are different models of the DDM/ PDM and my STX might have a version that didn’t accept the programming. I’ll keep moving on it.
