Call me clueless, but what are those little black symbols on the status bar of the speedo and tach meter?
They look like little batteries, with a short fuse attached.
(Call me lazy, but I didn't feel like hunting through 600 online pages of the owner's manual.)
I will say, in your defense, it is odd that they take on such a different appearance when they are in the "already past it" zone. Not sure why they wouldn't just leave them the same as the markers you haven't hit yet. I understand the need to invert the color, but wouldn't a simple black mark work just as well?
