Hey everyone,

I've been reading through the forums for a few months, but have a question on a custom order. I placed an order with a smaller dealer in March. I have yet to receive a VIN, let alone have any indication when the truck will be ready.

I've seen others get their trucks way sooner, and at this point am at a loss for what to do.

Has anyone else experience a wait this long?

Any idea what happens when Ford switches to making 2022s? Do I have to reorder assuming mine isn't done?

Have you spoken to the head sales guy there? He should be able to see what's going on. I put in a special order for a 2019, but ended up just missing the cutoff, so had to go back to dealer to put in another special order for a 2020.

I could be wrong, but I'll bet you'll be ending up special ordering a 2022!

 

This will be the last week that they schedule '21 builds, so if you don't have a build date this week, you'll have to convert to a '22.

 

Will it be switched to a '22 automatically or will I have to get with my dealer and reorder?

 

Can't speak for every dealer, but I had to go back in as I was basically ordering a different vehicle due to different model year.

 

Has anyone ordered any special custom raptor kit ?? If so who did you guys use or prefer thanks!!
