Does anyone know what each of the selection sliders control on the Connected Vehicle Features menu? I want to start limiting the data that goes back to Ford but don't want to lose some of the beneficial features. I looked in the manual and it was really unclear and almost worthless...

The things I want to be sure to keep are data used for the Vehicle Health Report I get periodically, Ford Pass features (vehicle status, vehicle location, tire pressures, fuel level, mileage. etc), the ability to remote lock/start/panic, and OTA updates. In looking at the sliders, the only one that seems obvious is Share Vehicle Location. The others descriptions for Share Vehicle Data, Share Vehicle Analytics and Share Driving Data could be associated with some of those things I want reported...

EDIT: I failed to look at the Info buttons behind each slider. Here is the data from those screens. It almost seems as if all of the sliders need to remain on to get the data I want in Ford Pass.... Depends on how literal you read each item...

Requires:

• Vehicle Connectivity setting "On"
• Share Vehicle Data setting "On"

If we share this data with others, it is provided in aggregated form so neither you nor the vehicle can be identified.



Share Media Analytics

Share anonymous information with us about what is listened to in the vehicle (for example, radio presets, channels, media sources, volume, title, artist, and genre) for product improvement and development purposes.

When both Share Media Analytics and Share Vehicle Analytics are turned on, Vehicle Analytics data, including data previously collected, may be combined with Media Analytics data and other information we have about you so user listening preferences can be analyzed and more personalized features and services can be provided to you. Information is shared when the vehicle is connected to Wi-Fi (data charges may apply).
